    Israel does not live in a vacuum so that it cannot wipe lebanon off the map to get rid of hizbollah, on the same note you could ask why doesn't Israel just Nuke Iran and finish the problem. As for the IDF I also believe that they should be praised for what they are doing not what they are not doing. In essence anyway you look at it war is ugly so to keep crying over death on both sides is point less. If you look at history war has always been about rape, pillage and plunder. Just take what the Romans did to Cartha. All this internation law bull*hit is a construct of the european imperialist in order to allow them to make rule to war so that they can more easily maintan the status quo. After all if you look closely all the European countries have autrocities in their past and in the present. "He hath no sin cast the first stone",.... Only time will tell the outcome of this conflict I for one am proud that at least something is being done.
