People like REAL RABBI like to dismiss the point Burg makes by suggesting a moral superiority of Jews to Muslims by picking on one aspect of the religion ( 72 virgins, etc). But the overall argument still stands, irrespective of the individual items. Theocracies are capable of most inhumane acts, and are not amenable to reason or logic, or legislation on fundamentalist tenets. The rabbi obfuscates. Yes, most Jewish believers would not support murders. Except when they do. That Rabin's murderer could shows that. To find refuge in jots and tittles avoids seeing that the phenomenon described is universal to theocratic minds. It needs to be addressed in the widest context, not dismissed with religious pride and arrogance.
