    Whether you agree with the Americans or not, is irrelevant. America has no real incentive to involve itself in israels problems. Why should the Average American have any interest in this conflict and take the side, whether its right or wrong of a minority (israelis) of the world pop. It is natural and expected that they will continue to drift to the centre. As American Jews assimilate and become more American and less Jewish, the Jewish influence will weaken. (naturally) So Israels position and America's position will gradually shift in different directions. This is the beginning. The problem that israelis and right wing jews need to understand is that the longer they fail to accept this "end game" future reality the worse they are going to make israel position in the world. That is of course if they are expecting the americans to save them from the arabs
