The settlers are the worst thing that has happened to the Jewish people since Nazism. A group of people who are a small minority has decided that their religious believes override any democratic way of running a state. They have nothing but contempt for democracy, and have been imposing their way on the vast majority of Israelis. They initially created the settlements against the expressed wishes of a very weak government that didn't have the political will and courage to kick them out. They used that precedent to create more and more settlements until an overtly pro-settlment government came to power. They are nothing but the Jewish Taliban, a force that want to take the Jews back 2000 years. Their former mentor, Ariel Sharon is finding out now that when you bring baby cobras into your house believing they will be docile because you raised them, they end up biting and killing everybody in your house, no sentiments.
