Supervision by the Ministry of Education does not make me feel better at all. They try to give everyone the curriculum they want, a rapidly shrinking secular population and two rapidly growing religious ones with diametrically opposed interests. Arabs want to go to school and chant about smiting infidels and fantasize about "Rolling hills of green" from a time before anyone remembers and another paradise to look forward to when they die and at least as far as some aspects of this are concerned, the Ministry of Education considers this their right. So, the burden of educating Palestinians in Judea and Samaria falls to Israel, at least financially. Fortunately the other rapidly expanding Religious Demographic has its own already established educational system and requires far less assistance.
