Haaretz, I would like to pass along a column written by the former American historian , Howard Zinn. He reminds people that historically governments have been in the business of promoting peoples' interests but its own...and they should consider looking beyond their government to make a life - of peace for themselves....See URL..... And i believe the column below this , Afghanistan A threat to Plunder by the Oxford scholar, Paul Callier backs this up... Especially , when one considers the real reason the US is nation building in Afghanistan and Iraq for the last 8yrs before this....And indeed, making its way into the Horn Of Africa.....Dutch America's Blinders , Common Dreams http://www.commondreams.org/views06/0321-20.htm Afghanistan, a Threat to plunder By Paul Collier http://www.commondreams.org/views06/0321-20.htm Dutch
