Thank you Mark! Thats exactly what I was trying to get through to the likes of Kim et al yesterday. I myself being an immigrant to the US have felt MUCH more welcomed here than anywhere else. There is a huge amount of racism in many European countries, even to tourists (witnessed first hand and by close friends). Now, if they act this way toward tourists, I can only imagine how they treat their low income african muslim laborers. Especially with the kind of attitude that Kim and others like her have toward Arabs and muslims. In the US, people are treated like people, regardless of race or religion, not like "these people" (courtesy of Kim). Now, this does not excuse, in any way, rioting for eight days straight - this should be stopped just like any other sort of criminal activity should be, but the underlying causes need to be addressed as well(discrimination and poverty being two of several). Of course, the warmongers on this board would not like that - its just easier to blame Islam, and everything else under the sun.
