To your second point, that the true root of terrorism is the barbarism of the terrorists, I fail completely to see what your meaning could be. Is this barbarism a pathological condition? Is it genetic or somehow part of the terrorist’s DNA? Maybe it has something to do with race, or religion, even skin colour? Or perhaps this ‘barbarism’ as you call it, is engendered through circumstance. If it is one of the former reasons, then we ought to begin a regime of DNA testing and imprison all those with the makings of this ‘barbarism.’ But if it is the latter reason, that of circumstance, and this seems the more likely as there have been barbarians of every colour, nation and creed (the KKK, Kmer Rouge, the Nazis all spring to mind), then we must dig deeper to see exactly which circumstances have caused this barbaric behaviour. And this is exactly what this article has tried to do. Even unsuccessful, its intentions place it ethically, intellectually and morally above your mindless rhetoric.
