    Your response shows both your lack of knowledge on this subject and your ignorance and/or unwillingness to explore the issue past your comfort zone. In the first instance, “terrorism” is NOT the gratuitous infliction of pain that you have stated, nor the meaningless killing or bloodshed. “Terrorism” is a term used to describe acts which, quite literally and self-evident in the word, instil terror. That the most common form of terrorism involves bloodshed, bombs and carnage does not change the meaning, even if it does, as shown by your response, corrupt the public’s perception of what terrorism truly is. To your second point, that the true root of terrorism is the barbarism of the terrorists, I fail completely to see what your meaning could be. Is this barbarism a pathological condition? Is it genetic or somehow part of the terrorist’s DNA? Maybe it has something to do with race, or religion, even skin colour? Or perhaps this ‘barbarism’ as you call it, is engendered through circumsta
