"There cant be peace in the Middle East" - Under the present status quo I agree there can be no peace in the Middle East. This was the point of my post. "The leadership should recognise Israel" - Again why should the Palestinians recognise the right of Israel to exist in a sovereign independent state when Israel does not recognise the right of Palestinians to live in a free and independent state? They are part and parcel and not mutual exclusive. "If the resolution of the Palestinian crisis is based on return of Shaba and Golan" - I never suggested this, they are not Palestinian territory. "The refugees are no excuse" - Who said they're an excuse? They're 5 million reasons why Israel must end its illegal occupation and allow them their basic right of self-determination. How do you legitimately argue for the self-determination of Israelis whilst dismissing this very same standard for the Palestinians?
