It is true that the Persians are distinct from Arabs, it is also true that they converted to Islam. While this was not an entirely positive development for the Children of Esther, they are hardly new to the whole surviving game. Until the fall of the Shah, they were pretty well off. After, well their numbers have declined considerably and only half are accounted for. Iran says there are 20,000 or more of them. I am not inclined to believe this figure. I believe it is half that and that leaves them a third of what they were only a few decades ago.
