You people need to distinguish the opinions of the man from his work as a honest historian. As regards the latter I beleive he is not unlike the other New Historians in revealing the lay of the land (e.g. demographics, existing polulations centers) and the mechanisms by which Israel established the (initial) boundaries of the State (expulsion of existing population, etc.) Now as to the man's opinions, e.g. that the founders (Ben-Gurion, etc.) should have completed the "transfer" of existing population and perhaps still should, of that I have no great praise. Hence my comment about not plesant but true, better than the persistent myths that are sill current and powerful in the Israeli psyche; as we witness here I migh add! Live in ignorance if it suits you, just don't expects those with eyes to share the illusion.
