Hi Dan.. I get the same problem when posting from the other side of the fence. I tend to post in reponse to comments that are racist and abusive, or to rebut posts and articles that use invented "facts" Despite that fact that my posts always fall within the guidelines, I am often censored. I don't post racist or abusive comments, or personal attacks (which are often found on these talkbacks from people on both sides) It is clear that some moderators do carry out their job based on their own political bias, rather than being an objective arbiter of what is acceptable and constructive commentary This is indeed frustrating, especially when a measured post is rejected from a talkback where the moderator has seen fit to publish other posts full of hate It leads one to consider if there is any value to these talkbacks at all.. it could be argued that they are simply a way of increasing page hits to drive advertising revenue If Haaretz wants to have a truly useful talkback facility then I would suggest that posters be made register on the site.. There should then be a facility to complain if posts that fall within the guidelines are rejected However, as this may cut down the number of extremist posts (from both sides), the talkbacks may not have the same draw and advertising revenue would be hit so I don't think it will happen

In a Sanders-Trump presidential race, many Jews will yearn for Bloomberg

Among Israel-minded voters, Sanders would get the J Street vote, Bloomberg would garner AIPAC’s and Trump would scrounge for leftovers.

Israel's angry, bitter left must reclaim the language of hope

We leftists whine and complain, we only talk about how bleak and hopeless life is in Israel. We alienate all those Israelis whose support we need to bring political change.
