"THIS ISN"T RACISM BY ANY DEFINITION!!! Racism is based on blood on color, if an arab, japanese, yellow, orange or what have you want to sincerely be Jewish they can convert!!!!!!!! This is about idea`s, values, abstractions... and this difference makes all the difference in the world." You are wrong. There is no set canon of "ideas, values and abstractions" that defines "Judaism," especially in Israel. You could be non-religious, reconstructionist, reform, conservative, orthodox, egalitarian, etc. and be - for the purposes of the Israeli state - equally "Jewish" (i.e. if your Mother was Jewish). Those wildly different sects and non-sects (i.e. those who simply don't believe) have absolutely no common ideological threads. Moreover, there is far more in common - intellectually speaking - between a religious muslim or christian and a religious jew than between a non-believing and haredi jew. Thus, you are left with the inescapable fact that it is indeed a sad form of racism.
