Perhaps one day the Jewish state will stop "tormenting" Palestinians. For our perspective this is exactly what the conflict is about, ending the occupation. I understand your perspective, namely, a desire for security. But objective eyes can see, that Israel's behavior is primarly geared toward retention of as much land as possible with as few nonJews as possible. Second objective is to make life as miserable as possible for Arabs to encourage as many to leave as possible. Third objective is to deal with the inevitable security problems that are created with objective 1 and 2.
