The Israeli tradition, established by Ben Gurion and his Communist comrades, of giving appointments to cronies instead of to capable people, has severely damaged Israel over the decades. Lapid and Yechimovich are experienced TALK SHOW HOSTS! They are woefully unprepared for serious jobs like Min of Defense, Foreign Affairs or the PM position. There are a dozen or so other MKs whose main claim to fame is a short career at a newspaper or radio station. They THINK that they know everything but history has shown repeatedly that they cause tremendous damage in office. Hopefully, PM Netanyahu will appoint worthy people to important positions and drop Politics-As-Usual into the garbage can of history - together with Ben Gurion's corrupt legacy!
