One does not have to be racist in order to percieve that there is a differance between a blond, a red headed and a black haired persons, but still among kids the red headed gingi had a special treatment. Sepharadis in Jerusalem would not accept an ashkenazi to their family or even neighbourhood. Back in the thirties when rumenians from Karpatia came and were settled in orange groves and isolated quarters at quite a low level of poverty, they were called the Horanim, and did not mix with the others, and so was the sort of yemenites and so on and so forth. Is that racism? the answer is clearly yes. It is a part of human nature, the sensitivity to differance no matter how small they are. It is also part of humanity, who invented its bases of education, to overcome this tendancy and create mixed society accepting the facts of differances and admitting them. Now, no matter what we do and how we get educated some people wont admit it and create what one calls racism
