I am now totaly disappointed now in Rabin. """...Yahad Party leader Yossi Beilin says that, two weeks after the assassination, he asked Leah Rabin whether her husband had confided in her with regard to the detailed map he envisaged. She told Beilin that her husband had been a pragmatic, straight-to-the-point individual, and that he never projected more than two weeks in advance on any issue...." If indeed Rabins plans addressed only 2 weeks ahead than it is now clear why Yasser Arafta decided in advance to launch an Intifada at some point in time. Osrael aunder Rabin looked only 14 days ahead. Arafta wouould have gotten piece by peice Areas C, D,E.. till the Green line and then would asked for the rest till the sea shore. It is indeed very reveling whar Lea Rabin acknowleged. No wonder , the President at the time, Ezer Weizman madea public call for Rabin to slow down with Oslo Porcess. And Weizman was a man of peace but not peace at any costs.
