Sharon was a War hero and a tactician whose tactics of 1956 and 1973 are taught in military colleges all over the world. Rabin went into a drunken binge at the start of the 1967 war. Rabin was a very indecisive person and was dragged into the Oslo agreement was Beilin and Peres and in my opininion is solely responsible for the death of Israelis as a result of his action. He may have not pulled the trigger but he facilitated the pulling of the trigger. Sharon is also culpable in the fact that he made many hard working Israelis homeless and gave hope to the Arabs that they can defeat Israel with terror.
