As a tradtional man, Rabbi Lau is perfect. He fits what are now the traditional requirements for an Israeli national public figure - he is tainted by sexual misconduct (it's true that these have not been proven in court, but remember when Lau challenged Talila Sten - one of his many accusers - to go to court , she agreed immediately - it was then Rabbi Lau who chickened out )and by bribery and corruption. The perfect traditional candidate !
