When Israelis stop elevating their ex-military officers to the status political hero and electing them solely on the basis of that status. Because most, if not all, of that pretentious bravado is a direct carry over from their military careers...the success of which largely relied on the same. Hopefully, this will dawn on Israelis someday, because the bigger danger of electing people solely on this criteria is that military leadership is not democratic, and does not necessarily qualify or prepare one for government office.
