Quite legal to either inter or deport folk who are allied to an enemy during a war. Gaza and the west Bank were occupied by agreement with Israel. Read the armistice agreements. BTW Israeli law since 1948 forbids residents and citizens from going to a hostile entity. (unless of course you're an illegal settler) I.e., Israel makes it up as it goes along.
