Israel needs to understand that the Obama led United States has turned from an ally into an adversary. It is very obvious that Obama knew in advance that the Mavi Marmara was infiltrated by Turkish IHH terrorists. He did nothing to pursuade Erdogan to keep the ship from sailing from Turkey. Such irresponsible acts, which could have cost the lives of "pacifists" on the ship, is typical of Obama's blind "engagement" in the international arena. United States power and prestige have considerably declined since his election. Despite Obama's fawning over the Muslim world, the United States is held in contempt. The administration's decisions to alienate and isolate Israel has brought no gifts from those countries who are being courted. To the contrary, traditional muslim allies feel endangered while enemies are full of glee.
