    Thank you for the report, Gideon. Gladly so for your father and the middle eastern journalistic landscape. As for the "typical yekke precision, clear of emotion": It still happened to me last week that a German colleague was mocking me because I had told with a little excitement about my inattention in a certain situation, something which must have appeared completely uninteresting to him and even less so my little excitement. Some people can't stand and it is hard not to let oneself intimidate by their mockery. That's how expression of emotion, those individual things which are only sometimes shared by others when it can be decisive to put them into words, are being eradicated from talk. (Maybe that's why I enjoy so much the music of Ivri Lider: He fills a huge gap. By the way: Is it not similar in Israel, too?)
