It is high time for Israeli law to deal with rabbis who publicly call for not hiring Arabs (citizens), not renting them homes, and not admitting them to Jewish universities. At the very least, such rabbis should be barred from receiving salaries from the state. They should be promptly fired from positions of municipal rabbi, school rabbi, etc. The good thing about Judaism is that every community has the right to hire its own rabbi deemed appropriate for its needs. There are many tolerant rabbis available, so the nutty ones will learn to keep quiet when they hold illegal views.
