First of all, I would like to codemn the use Full capitalization on this and every Blog, like that W Wilson. His point is no more valid than others, the shouting implies far too much emotion and anger displayed against a fellow human being for a "crime" against the State, not Wilson personally. Indeed, "Wilson" and "Gross in Cuba" show less tolerance for Gross' crime, than for the Lockerbie Killer released from prison to return to Libya because of cancer, which he may or may not have. Yes, Mr. Gross did bring in some Internet equipment, which he may have known the Autocratic President was sensitive to and indeed was a crime of paranoia and threat to autocratic rule. But recent overtures to the Jewish Community in Cuba and the apparent loosening of strict control may have given him assurance that this rule in this case might not be enforced. I guess he was wrong or double crossed. In any case, 20 years? It should be worth a fine, suspended sentence, deportation and nothing more.
