When an army operates only according to morals, it might as well only arm itself with white flags. So, it's time to make peace and end all armies. On the other hand, I wasn't watching FOX Sports coverage of the Morality Olympics, but on a point-by-point basis, there's nothing to compare tank and ship shelling of one's own people (or any civilian areas) to this disgusting treatment of protesters. True, the Army broke the laws and should not have touched the protesters. I'm sorry I wasn't there to join the protest. But, it's not anything comparable to what the Syrians or the Lybians are doing. On an ongoing basis, the occupation is, in some ways, worse than killing some civilians. We've raised over a generation of imprisoned civilians in a hopeless future. That's horrible. Again, please don't make the Syrian comparison without warning us in advance that there's really no comparison.
