    (1) Jerusalem must remain united under Israel's sovereignty. (2) Major settlement blocs will become part of the sovereign territory of the state of Israel. (3) The Jordan Valley must be viewed in the widest sense of the world and remain under Israel's rule. (4) A future Palestinian state will not be a regular state, e.g. it must be demilitarized, its air space must be controlled by Israel, its border passes - land, sea and air - must remain in Israel's hand. Rabin has been dubbed worldwide as a Prince of Peace. His views, those of a Jewish patriot, are nearly identical to those of Mr. Netnajahu's, indeed, nearly identical to those of the vast majority of Jews, within and without Israel. The real "core issue" however has always been the categorical refusal by the Muslim-Arab world, local and regional, to accept Israel's legitimacy, its RIGHT to be, to exist as the nation-state of the Jewish people. It is high time this "core issue" is dealt with by demanding of the Muslim-Arabs to accept Israel's RIGHT to be now!!
