b"H One thing people have to get straight is this isn't just a state; this is Eretz Yisrael, and it has Keduaha, and every child who is born here has Kedusha, and we are one people, who are mutually responsible for each other. If HASHEM gives a child life, we, his or her fellow Jews have an oblication to see that he or she survives and thrives. Why should someone have two cars in his garage, while someone else's children go hungry? We practise capitalism, but with the good old standard Mitzvah of Tzedakah. We all, even the very rich, need some form of Chesed. Just as with learning, we get about as much Chesed as we give. Until Mr. Lapid has learned this lesson, may he never need Chsed. I think he should learn fast.
