The only "shared" history Christianity has with Islam is one of past wars. One G-D? What about Brahminism, Sikhism or Zorosterism? There are no such animals as "Christian civilizations" because unlike Judaism or Islam, one is not born a Christian and groups, even families, cannot impose their faith. Beliefs perhaps, but not faith since that can only come when one has a personal relationship with G-D through Jesus. Legislation can establish laws but not faith. It can make you claim to believe but not have faith. If you were a Christian the Bible says you have the mind of Christ. I think if you were honest with yourself you would admit that your thoughts concerning Israel are not from G-D. All Christians I know see the establishment of Israel as a fulfillment of Bible prophecy. Popes and worldly gain are not Christian doctrine, ("call no man father because you have one Father in heaven..." and "don't lay up treasures on Earth where thieves can steal..."). Criticism against "Christian civilizations" just points out where Christians have failed to follow their faith, not where the faith itself was at fault. How can that be compared to Islam which promises a reward for killing a Jew?

Not every Israel critic is an Israel hater

Israel’s critics run the gamut from Jew-haters to people who have the country’s best interests in mind. Lumping all together as anti-Semites is a big mistake.
