Chris, his previous role isn't that relevant; after all, Reagan was an actor. What is relevant is that he carried his previous mentality and savoir-faire with him into the diplomatic world. He obviously relishes his one-two verbal punches at whoever's within his 'ring' at the time ... and has show that he can take them too. Not refined diplomatic performances, perhaps, but that's not his style. Let's not apportion blame too quickly: With his background, I doubt he ever read Norman Vincent Peale's "How to win friends and influence people" ...
