The bombing of the Russian airliner reflects the long conflict between Islamic extremists and Egypt that has spread south to the coastal fantasy land.21:26 25.11.15 | 0 comments
I flew out of Ben-Gurion in September. I'm about as white-anglo-saxon-protestant looking as they come, and you know what? I was given the third degree as well. They questioned me at the gate to the airport, as soon as I got out of the taxi, and again when I was standing in line for the baggage screening. They swabbed my shoes and the inside of all my bags. I took it all in stride - I knew it was for my own good. If anything, it was amusing, but certainly not humiliating. If I can deal with it, they can too.
