Netanyahu can insult an American VP in this way, and seem to get away with it, primarily because of a long history as frienship, and the fact that AIPAC pretty much rules the roost in Washington. But what you don't see is the gradual shift in attitude in America. Primarily over whether it's in America's interest to keep subsidizing an increasingly fanatical State of Israel, pissing off Muslims, risking more terrorist attacks, and dying in pointless wars, basically so that a few thousand fanatical Jews can keep moving into occupied Palestinian land?
