Despite effort Queers Against Israeli Apartheid did march in this year's Toronto Pride. This is not made clear in the article, perhaps the information is dated? In any case there are ongoing efforts to exclude QAIA in next years' parade, likely to backfire given the history of political expression which is fundamental to Pride since inception. Moreover given that the economic benefits of Pride to the city are enormous it is nearly inconceivable that the anti-QAIA forces could prevail.
