This article is, first and foremost, about sloppy writing and editing of text books, which, frankly, does not surprise me (comment no. 8 about the road signs is very apt in this regard). But any pretext is good enough for the usual forum suspects to exchange their well known, totally predictable positions on Jews, Arabs, and the Middle East in general (comment No. 3 by "Danny" was an absolute highlight in this regard). This place never ceases to amaze me.
