    I have been wondering when someone would draw this comparison. Russia is using "protecting the local ethnic population" as a reason to send in troops in to a sovereign neighbor the same way Nazi Germany did. It also seems to me that given geography and history the Ukraine will always want to have good relationships with both Europe and Russia.
