I have been reading (in frustration) Haaretz for 13 years now and I have seen many anti-Israel op-eds (wait nearly all) but the combination of anti-Israel and anti-US rhetoric has reached it's heights here. Oh, by Eldar?s account the problem is the U.S but lets remind ourselves that the Arabs have been full on attacking modern Israel since 1920 while the US has been backing Israel only since Yom Kippur. This support was to balance Soviet military backing Arab's efforts to destroy Israel which existed since the fifties. Yes, now a days most People in the world despise BUSH and therefore now its not the best time to be US friend but, talking about biting the hand that feeds you! Put down the crack pipe Eldar! You're high!
