but I don`t believe they are committed to the survival of Israel -what they refer to as an illegitimate state which occupies all of Palestine" It is totally false that ISMers refer to Israel as an illegitimate state, though I and all of my friends, Jewish and non-Jewish, Israeli and non-Israeli, believe that Israel's occupation of Palestine is illegitimate. It is a convenient bit of zionist propaganda to deceive people who are less familiar with Israel and Palestine into believing that criticism of Israel and its occupation of Palestine is the same thing as denying Israel's right to exist. I have to give you zionists credit here...you certainly keep us on our toes educating people as to the truth. We read such nonsense here in almost every other post. You know it isn't true, but repeating the lie ad nauseum is necessary for zionists to continue the myth that Israel is a tiny defenseless little state surrounded by enemies trying to drive her into the sea. I have heard people say that Israel should be destroyed. That is the worst kind of racism and I have no time for such thinking or such people. I certainly haven't seen anyone state such a thing here, though I have seen hundreds of posts claiming Palestinians don't exist and Palestine doesn't exist. I just consider the source and put it down to ignorance. When I first worked on a TV documentary about Israel's birth, I thought it was a wonderful story of survival. I must confess that having seen what Israel has wrought since 1948, I now believe its creation was one of the greatest tragedies of the last century. But Israel does exist, and I support its continued existence, hoping always that it will change its wicked ways and become what it could and should have become.
