How much more ridiculous can this get? Oh, and by the way, are the daily overflights of Lebanon by Israeli military aircraft not the true provocation here? Israelis are such monumental hypocrites. The IDF will jump at any minuscule justification to start another war with Lebanon and thus to reoccupy southern Lebanon. Since its founding, Israel has wanted access to water from the Litani River, and during the previous occupation drew water from the Litani. In 2006 Israeli forces pushed as far north as the Litani before withdrawal. Somewhere in the future, there will be an attempt at reoccupation and subsequent annexation of S Lebanon. (As has happened with the Golan, and for the same reason.) What makes Israel so furious with the Hezbolla is that the Hezbolla have twarted this long term goal .
