    No, most women are not suitable for combat. But the idea of basing positions on skill, not gender, if handeled properly, is a good idea. Improper handeling, for example, would be making the army soft. Proper handeling would be judging female soldiers by the same standards as male. Some women, just like men, will die, but it was their choice to take part. Women shouldn't be protected unduly, they're no better than men. Numbers 7 & 11 - male rape is commonplace too. Don't discriminate against men by failing to realise this! Number 8 - why shouldn't you allow them to try? The worst that can happen is that they die, which they knew might happen when they joined a combat unit. No biggie. Number 12 - that doesn't make sense. You say 'theory versus practice', and then 'but did women grow penises? No.' Well, there was never any theory to suggest women would grow penises. Some women, with a LOT more physical training, could be as adept as men.
