I beleive there are in fact 220 permanent workers with possibly another 200 seasonal workers involved .Amazing how this one tiny little insignificant factory causes headlines and immediate political fighting at the government level.Hatsor will continue with or without this little factory. Hatsor is heavily supported by philanthropic Jews in the USA.The social and educational buildings give the names of the USA charity organisations which ensure Hatsor's social needs. The town's crying and begging has gone far enough -60 years on its hard to call it a " developing" town any more ! The reall problem of the workers is the same for the new incoming Ethiopean and Eritraen immigrants . What is needed is intensive manual employment of an unskilled and untrained nature . Unfortunately this type of work no longer exists in modern countries. Hal.
