Since an attack on the US navy would have provided Bush with the excuse he needed to attack Iran's nuclear facilities it appears to me that the Iranians showed exemplary judgment in not doing so. It shows that Iran's leaders are not the crazed hotheads they are made out to be by Zionists anxious for war but are perfectly rational politicians. I can't think of a single reason why Iran should have attacked the US fleet. Your suggestion, Peter, that Iranian restraint shows weakness or cowardice on their part is ridiculous baloney.
