I was a student at the Nisuyi (experimental) school that was housed in Lifta in the late 1970's. The place is beautiful, pastoral and was a hub of creative energy for this unique school. I firmly believe that there are many potential uses for the site, utilizing the existing buildings and bringing life back to this lovely area. City Elders: Rather than simply selling Lifta off to the highest bidder, let's make of it something that we can all enjoy and perhaps allow the spirit of creativity and community to flourish!
