After vocal segments of Israel's Arab population voiced support for Hezbollah's terrorism last summer - many Israelis simply fear that many Israeli Arabs want to destroy the state. Under such impressions, supporting migration of that population is understandable. In reality, many Israeli Arabs don't ascribe to that view. But the press, Ha'aretz included, are more interested in sensationalist headlines over thoughtful reporting. The real story here is that despite friction, many Arabs are good citizens: The newest cabinet member just one exmaple. Also, 1/2 the Jewish community, despite years of terrorism, are enlightened enough to support the welfare of Israel's Muslim minority.
