Guys, you misunderstood what he said about the poverty. He was clear when he mentioned that in his imagination Israel appeared to be like Jouniya. Jouniya or "Jounieh" is a christian rich city, located on the mediterenean, and it's about 6 miles north of Beirut. I have been in many places from spain to greece, and i think Jounieh is one of the most beautiful cities on the mediterenean. Maybe M. tried to compare Jounieh to TelAviv and he forgot to campare the poor southern suburbs of Beirut to TelAviv. I almost had the same feeling when i visited Israel in 2002 and i was expecting to see a european style country with its architecture similar to Jounieh, but it wasn't like that.
