"The usual line: nobody cared." "In fact the rest of the world put its interests first." The second statement is true however it doesn't negate the "usual line" - it proves it. You can argue that the allies should have been indifferent to the the exterminations of civilians; but the fact that you ridicule people for resenting and being hurt by that is bizarre.
