Most democracies have a political spectrum which includes a right wing, a left wing, and a substantial number of centerists. You don't have this in Israel. The two best known Israeli left wingers are Barak and Peres. Barak is the Defense Minister of the most right wing Israeli government ever. Peres is the chief apologist and errend boy for the most right wing Israeli government ever. So much for the Israeli left. The centerists in Israel are represented by Kadima. Kadima is made up mostly of ex-Likudniks who changed theor label without changing their politics. So much for the Israeli left. What's left? Netanyahu would be considered a leftist in his own government. This is how extreme the Israeli government is.
