Political pressure and fear of being charged themselves might get Israel enough votes to block the Goldstone report from being acted upon. But those things don't do much against individuals. And individuals who were disgusted at what they saw in Gaza are likely to react to seeing those used to whitewash it by taking little actions themselves. And the tipping point for the boycott campaign, from when it turns from a fringe movement to mainstream acceptability is being approached without that extra boost. (Oh, and for those demanding that the barrage going into Israel be condemned, what about the barrage going the other way? Have you been vocal about those shells, missiles, and bullets?)
