Here goes G Levy, whining and moaning again about people picking on his beloved "leftists". Well, politically there really is no need, since Meretz is probably going to disappear from the next Knesset, and Labour will be lucky to get 10 seats. All these leftists NGOs are gettting tens of millions of dollars from abroad, but almost nothing from within Israel. Why? Because their message is rejected by Israeli donors: we do not like foreign-funded NGOs whose raison d'etre is to pretend they are "human rights" organizations, but whose sole purpose is to deconstruct Israel. Levy will never deal with reality, that we know. The Palestinians can fire a million rockets at Israel and set off bullets and bombs, yet Levy will most certainly never call the Palestinians to task for the exact same sins he fingers Israel. Is there a vocal "left" in the Palestinian Authority? Of course not. Anybody who challenges the PA or Hamas line is simply locked up for a week and informed what will become of them and their families. That, of course, is irrelevant to Levy.
