It seems to me it matters much less whether Gideon's flowers are fresh or plastic, than the security of Israel does. Would Israel , Gideon included, enjoy the 'relative' quiet of the past few years if the West Bank was under the control of Hamas or Iran ? The uneasy situation is that many settlers are fanatics living there for their own agenda and not for the original purpose of defence pending a proper peace treaty. Lets' hope some day, Jews and Arabs can exchange flowers (any type) instead of bullets.
